VICSES working with Emergency Recovery Victoria in wake of flood and storm events

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) has today issued a one-off and no-reply text message to community members who sought support during recent storm and flood events which impacted the state.

The message, which was sent in support of Emergency Recovery Victoria (ERV), was issued to certain callers who phoned 132 500 for emergency assistance during major flooding and storms between December 2023 and January 2024, and also during storms in February this year.

The text aims to inform community members of the variety of recovery support available to them following these incidents.
