Volunteering with VICSES
It takes thousands of dedicated VICSES volunteers from across the state to provide emergency assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.
By volunteering with VICSES, you will:

To volunteer for VICSES, all applicants first go through a selection and screening process to ensure they understand the role and can meet the time commitments required for training and performing volunteer duties. Please ensure that you read through the different volunteer roles within VICSES, the training requirements and time commitment required for each role. For example, If you are interested in joining a Road Crash Rescue unit, there is a minimum of five hours a week time requirement.
All membership applications are subject to an interview and successful background checking.
